Marching Bands

Warm-up, Performance Schedules and maps are available to download at the bottom of this page. The 2017 CBA field-access wristband policy will be in effect. These field-level access wristbands are required for all volunteers helping a band move equipment to the performance field.

Booster clubs
Please follow the new Grilling guidelines in effect for the 2017 festival. Thank you for your help and sharing this limited space all of the bands!

  • Only one (1) Grill vehicle with a festival provided sign is allowed, due to space contraints. The vehicle will be directed to the one-way traffic flow into the grilling area.
  • Cooking must be on the paved surface, with a fire extinguish closely available.
  • The paved area is reserved for food preparation only. Please use grassy or gravel areas for serving food and eating.
  • To apply online for the Waiting List (as of 5/26/2017), please fill out the Pomona Marching Festival Application.
  • Paper applications may be sent by US Mail, or scanned and emailed to the Pomona Marching Festival.

    The entry fee is $335.00, which covers both the Prelim and Finals competitions, and includes a DVD of your band’s performance(s). There is a discounted entry fee of $295.00 for all payments received by June 1st, 2017. Check or credit card payments are accepted.

    The Pomona Marching Festival is an Official CBA Sanctioned event. There is a limit of 24 bands in Prelims and 12 bands in Finals.

    All entry fees are non-refundable after August 18th, 2017. Also, all band registration materials must comply with 2017 CBA rules and submitted by Sept 6th, 2017 to be eligible to perform at the festival.

    Preliminary Competition, begins at 9:00am
    Gates open from 8:30am – 4:45pm

    National Anthem: 5:45pm, Gates open at 5:30pm

    Spectator Viewing
    Valid CHSAA and CBA Staff passes are honored for stadium admittance
    Per 2017 CBA policy, anyone entering the field with the band must have either a CBA Director/Staff pass or a Field Pass wristband, this includes all pit and prop volunteers.These wristbands will be provided in the Director’s Packet upon check-in. It is the Director’s responsibility to get these wristbands to their volunteers prior to lining up at the field entrance. Additional Field Pass wristbands will NOT be provided.

    These wristbands grant access to the field only for your band’s performance, wristbands do not provide entrance into the stadium.
